Abstract: | This report is part of a series of publications by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to document statistical data and indicators for the status of education and higher education in Palestine. The report is concerned with the academic programs offered by the Palestinian universities, colleges and middle colleges, specifically engineering, medical sciences, sciences and agriculture. The study attempts to present general and gender-seggregated statistics for undergraduate and graduate students registered in Palestinians universities and colleges. It highlights the gender segmentation in certain academic programs aiming that these findings would encourage policy planners and makers to address such issues more systematically. |
